With a width of fewer than 72 millimeters, the MICRO PLC is up to 50% smaller than typical MICRO controllers, offering new solutions and possibilities in regards to performance and space requirements.
Highlights
In addition to standard Ethernet protocols such as Modbus TCP or S7 communication, the MICRO also supports PROFINET. Up to eight PROFINET devices can be easily connected and the MICRO can be integrated as an I-Device in PROFINET topologies. The user can also use the PROFIBUS slave function, PtP and MPI with an expansion module. Further functionalities of the SLIO system such as larger memory or field bus connections can be enabled using the multiple award-wining VIPA Set Card (VSC).

The attractive range of integrated communication interfaces like standard Ethernet for PG/OP communication ensures you comfort and flexibility. Especially advantageous: The operation of our 300S CPUs is also possible without an additional memory card due to the integrated work memory.
